Solidarity in Poland

Post by Roger » Mon Mar 11, 2019 12:42 pm

This article about the Solidarity movement - https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/a919/1 ... 974108.pdf - may be the best thing I've ever read about how individual and collective change actually happens. Although it doesn't use the technical terms of either, it's very relevent to both Dabrowski and complexity theory. Krystyna, how well does it resonate with your experiences in Poland? Does it sound right to you?

Hello Roger,
Thank you very much for your comments. Yes, I agree with you, individual and collective changes did happen during that special time.
In the next article for the Third Factor, I'll continue my story about my experience in Poland.
I will show how this new atmosphere of political and intellectual freedom had an enormous influence on Poles. People, I called them enthusiasts, became inspired and were able to create something significant for the younger generation.
Krystyna
